Real Tools.
Real Labs.
Real Skills.
At TGM Pathway, you do not just read about technology. You use it. Our labs are equipped with the same tools that real IT and cyber security professionals use in real organisations, and every module is supported by structured, hands-on lab time.
This is the difference between a graduate who can talk about technology and a graduate who can actually do the work. We are committed to producing the second kind.
- Modern Computer Lab
- Virtualisation capability
- Segmented practice networks

The Best Beneficial Side
of The TGM Pathway Foundation
Modern Computer Lab
Our modern computing labs seats 12 to 15 learners, fully air-conditioned, with stable broadband, dedicated power backup, and projector-equipped teaching stations.
Virtualisation Capability
Every learner gets access to Windows and Linux virtual machines for hands-on practice in safe, sandboxed environments where you can experiment, break things, and learn — without breaking anything that matters.
Segmented Practice Networks
Our network design lets students practise real network configuration, segmentation, and security techniques without ever touching production systems.
Few Of The Tools You Will Use
You will be using a few tools here at TGM Pathway for Software Development, Databases, Networking and Cyber Security
- VS Code as your primary integrated development environment.
- Git and GitHub for version control and collaboration.
- Industry-standard programming language runtimes (including Python and Java).
For Software Development
- MySQL, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server / SQL Express for relational database work
- DBMS tools for schema design, query development, and security configuration
For Databases
- Cisco Packet Tracer for network design, simulation, and configuration.
- Real Linux and Windows command-line environments for hands-on configuration.
For Networking
- Windows and Linux virtual machines configured for security exercises
- Packet inspection tools (such as Wireshark)
- Password managers and anti-malware utilities for hands-on demonstrations
- Browser developer tools for application security exploration
For Cyber Security
How Lab Time Works
Every module includes scheduled lab sessions integrated with your taught classes. You learn the concept, you see it demonstrated, and then you do it yourself, guided, supported, and reviewed by a tutor.
Your lab work is not throwaway practice. It feeds directly into your assignments and portfolio. By the time you graduate, every artefact in your portfolio is something you actually built, configured, tested, or analysed. Work you can put in front of an employer or a university admissions officer with confidence.
