What Happens After You Graduate
A foundation pathway is only as good as the doors it opens. TGM Pathway opens two big ones, and you don't have to choose between them. Many of our students will pursue both: a job to start earning and gaining experience, and a top-up degree to convert their three-level OTHM qualification into a full bachelor's degree.

DOOR ONE - DIRECT EMPLOYMENT
Nigerian and international organisations are actively recruiting for the exact roles our curriculum prepares you for. After completing the TGM Pathway, you are positioned to enter the workforce in roles such as:
- Junior Cyber Security Analyst: assessing and responding to security risks.
- Network Administrator or Network Engineer: designing and maintaining organisational networks.
- Junior Software Developer: building applications in real teams.
- Database Administrator:Â managing the data systems that run businesses.
- IT Support Specialist: keeping technology working for organisations of every size.
- Systems Analyst: bridging business needs and technical solutions.
- Junior IT Project Coordinator:Â supporting the delivery of technology projects
DOOR TWO - TOP UP FO A FULL BSc DEGREE
Because OTHM is a UK-regulated awarding body, your Level 4, 5, and 6 credits are accepted by a network of universities offering “top-up” bachelor’s degrees. A top-up degree is exactly what it sounds like: universities recognise your 360 OTHM credits as equivalent to the first two years of an honours undergraduate degree, and you complete only the final year to graduate with a full BSc or BA.
This means:
- You spend three years studying at home in Lagos at the TGM Pathway Institute.
- You spend one final year abroad (or online, depending on the university).
- You graduate with a complete UK or international bachelor’s degree.
- You save a substantial amount compared to studying abroad from year one, and you arrive at your overseas university already trained, mature, and ready to excel.
The Bonus Door & Our Progression Support
The skills you build in the TGM Pathway map directly to globally recognised professional certifications, including:
- CompTIA Security+: entry-level cybersecurity certification.
- Cisco CCNA: networking certification.
- Microsoft Azure Fundamentals and beyond: cloud certifications.
- Cloud security: certifications from major providers
TGM Pathway Foundation students stack one or more of these certifications alongside their OTHM qualification, making them even more competitive in the job market.

You do not have to figure this out alone. Every TGM Pathway student gets:
- A documented progression plan reviewed regularly with our team.
- One-to-one advisory sessions on top-up universities and applications.
- CV, portfolio, and interview preparation support.
- Connections to our network of employers and certification providers.
- Honest, experienced guidance on what your next step should actually be.

Cyber Security ConsultantTGM Pathway made my UK admission process so easy. I was confused about the right pathway programme to choose after WAEC, but their team guided me step by step. Today, I’m studying Business Management in the UK and I’m really grateful for the support.
